Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Critical Care Physician specialising in burn care to join our team in a
tertiary burn center. The role requires Tier 1 qualifications, formal training in critical care and a minimum of 6
years of experience managing critically ill burn patients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the critical care management of patients with severe burn injuries and related complications.
Provide advanced life support and monitor complex clinical conditions.
Work closely with burn surgeons, anesthesiologists and rehabilitation teams.
Ensure adherence to evidence-based critical care practices and protocols.
Contribute to research, education, and the development of burn care programs.
Qualifications and Skills
Tier 1 qualification in Critical Care Medicine with a focus on burn care.
Minimum 6 years of experience in a burn center as a Critical Care Physician.
Expertise in ventilator management, fluid resuscitation and infection control in burn patients.
Strong leadership, organisational and collaborative skills.
Certification:
UK/Ireland: CCT/CCST
USA/Canada: ABMS/RCPSC
Australia/New Zealand: Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
Certificate of Specialisation from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Holland,
Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark.
