Job Summary
We are hiring a Consultant Trauma Surgeon with Tier 1 qualifications and formal training in Trauma Surgery.
The candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in a tertiary hospital and demonstrate a commitment
to providing exceptional trauma care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the assessment, stabilisation and surgical management of acute trauma patients.
Perform complex trauma surgeries and coordinate with emergency and critical care teams.
Implement evidence-based practices to optimise patient outcomes.
Engage in training, mentoring, and professional development activities.
Contribute to trauma system planning and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
Tier 1 qualification with formal training in Trauma Surgery.
Minimum 6 years of experience in a tertiary hospital.
Proficiency in advanced trauma life support protocols and procedures.
Strong team collaboration, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
Certification:
UK/Ireland: CCT/CCST
USA/Canada: ABMS/RCPSC
Australia/New Zealand: Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
Certificate of Specialisation from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Holland,
Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark.
